Continuing Professional Development
Janine and Sandy are both involved in continuing professional development to enhance their skills. Janine is a regular attendee at ITI conferences and meetings of the local East Midlands Regional Group. She also travels to Sweden regularly to the conference of the Swedish Association of Professional Translators, SFÖ.
In 2017 she co-presented a paper on terminology at the ITI conference in Cardiff.
Sandy is essentially retired apart from assisting Janine, but is happy to consider one-off technical editing or feature writing projects. He retains a broad interest in science & technology, hopes to find more time for writing SF and space-related features and maintains his membership of BIS (the British Interplanetary Society).
